1.
Seafoam 04:20
That particular Florida, northwestern Florida seafoam green Lined the streets off the beat where we chose to meet And this is me in real life: I'm sorry that I didn't live up to my internet profile But I get better with time, or maybe worse with time Like a fine wine, it's a quality of mine that I like And the back of my car is flooded with cassettes And a couple wet blankets and sometimes a couple of friends Who are just like me, and ugly on the outside But pretty in our organs, in our hearts and in our eyes We see a great expanse in a cul-de-sac And we'll drive down this street til we've got to turn back And we'll start again...but we won't start again again
2.
I predicted way back when what I'd be like today: Dressed funny, less funny, still funny in a different way Never thought I'd have got my hand's back on this old denim vest It's been folded since I finally got it out, now I'm right back in it again Still grungy after all these years I'm starting to get big just like my dad It's not the vestments, it's not the patches, it's not even words, it's inflection I used to sing I was more than a set of fibers and cells What I've got is not just wrinkles, worn out eyes, and thirty extra pounds This barbershop that you've gutted is a rented world It's so strange to feel nostalgic for something I never did experience That's why they still sell Lisa Frank Binders That's why they brought back the Polaroid Camera Quintin Tarantino, he still makes a lot of money Netflix couldn't get enough to finally nab the Olsen Twins No longer working for a minimum wage Other than that, nothing much has changed It's not the vestments, it's not the patches, it's not even words, it's inflection I used to sing I was more than a set of fibers and cells What I've got is not just wrinkles, worn out eyes, and thirty extra pounds God bless Ameria, freedom or whatever Sting like a killer bee, float like a feather Drink til you pass out, drop out of college When did it start being cool to be so damn apathetic? Why does every song have a joke in it's name? I give a shit about sincerity.

about

Hey! Al Mirabella here. These are the first two songs we're releasing officially by my band, Al Mirabella & The Mid-Life Crises. We're all busy adults, so who's to say when we're going to release more music, but we would love to come play in your punk squat or seasonal office party.
